SMS Text Ordering

First UK Design can enable you to take orders for food by SMS text message. In the USA this is already a major success, they call it "Beat the Queue", but it's more about the mobile phone market. It's growing all the time.

Your customers can set up a free account on your website and include their mobile phone number, home address and work address. They can select, from your menu, a choice of food and save this a single memorable word i.e. "me1".

Your customer can save as many "meals" as he or she may like, each with a unique memorable name. Once this is completed, there is no need to go back to the website. The meal can be ordered from their mobile phone as follows:

text: eat me1 to: 60999

That's it! We recognise the mobile phone number and your restaurant or takeaway by the unique word "me1".
We check you are open and if delivery, collection or sit-down, we can process their credit/debit card payment and send the order, electronically, directly to a PC/Laptop or Epos Touch Screen. You accept the order and send to the kitchen.

You do not require a FAX machine or any special equipment, just a PC or Laptop or we can supply an Epos system.

What is the Cost?

Once the service has been set up for your restaurant, service overview, there are no additional costs. Your customers pay £0.25 for each order confirmation SMS text. The SMS text confirmation can include a unique number for reference.

Special Set Dinners and Newsletter:

We provide an unlimited and editable Special Set Dinners Website Screen.

You can add Special Set Dinners by number of persons and price etc. and save each option with a unique word. This is the word your customers will send, from their mobile phone, by SMS text message.

On the website, at the top, we will add a button or image which says "We recommend" or similar. When your customers click this button, all of your Special Set Dinners are displayed, 3 or 4 per row. They can viewed and sorted in any order:

1) Number of persons
2) Cost up to Value i.e. £15, £25, £35 etc.
3) Number of Persons and Cost

(the software automatically creates the lists)

Once a customer decides on a particular Special Set Dinner, all they have to do is text the order to you. They do not have to order the meal online or phone you.

Your customer can order from anywhere, leaving work, in the car, on the train, from a football match and from home! 

News Letter / Special Offers

You can email or Mobile Phone offers to your customers, Special Set Dinners (seasonal food, vegetables or seasonal events). Your customers just SMS text the unique order "word" and the order is sent to you for processing.

WHAT COULD BE EASIER THAN SMS TEXT ORDERING?

We will not supply any other competitive restaurant in your delivery area, for a period of 12 months.
