CCTV integrated with Epos Software

In partnership with Shepley Computers we provide integrated CCTV which works, in real time, with our software to produce transaction snapshots. The cameras are activated by the Epos till and the transactions filmed and stored on a dedicated PC. Specific transactions can be easily found, recalled and viewed in the Epos till window or from another location.

CCTV: we provide you with a system that matches the security and operational needs of your shop, restaurant or takeaway. We supply state-of-the-art equipment that is of a high enough quality to provide evidence admissible in a court of law. We position the system to provide full coverage of all key points in your shops and Shepley Computers will install and test it. Each system is designed specifically for your requirements. We can provide a full range of cameras to meet your special needs.

The product range comprises both custom built PC based and standalone DVR’s that can support from 4 to 32 cameras including audio recording. The CCTV system typically records up to 28 days of video. Only images that contain movement are recorded so space is not wasted recording static images. The system unit controls all aspects of the system and stores recorded image data onto its hard disks.

If you want to be able to monitor exactly what is happening in each of your stores, every minute, you can use Internet access to your CCTV for remote viewing and playback.

We also network your EPoS and CCTV together so you can quickly find and watch individual transactions.

Your staff will know that a CCTV system is monitoring all transactions. This acts as a major deterrent against theft, fraud or any other illegal action. The system can also be used to record Age

checks and record transactions by possible under-age customers. It can also ensure that your staff are checking that cigarettes etc. are not being purchased by under-age friends or family members. The CCTV system can be activated automatically by the purchase of cigarettes, alcohol etc.

UK Epos produce customised Epos systems and can include any special requirements within the program and enable you to manage the CCTV operations within the back-office administration.
